I'd like to get into more serious biking but don't have a lot of financial resources for it at this point so I'd like to use one I have if practical. I have 2 bikes that I picked up through the years I may want to use and a couple others I may want to sell but have no idea what to price them at.

The one I'm most considering myself is one that I picked up at a raffle last year. All it says it Shimano on it. It's a mens multispeed mountain bike and the frame may be a bit to large for my 5'5".

The other is one I got from my ex husband who bought it from someone else 10 years ago. It's a smaller framed road bike and says Citylite and Citysport.

Which one would be the best to keep and how do I price the ones I want to sell.

One of the two I would want to sell is a boys mountain bike that says Shocker Next on it. The other is a Apache Pacific womans Mountain bike meant for a 5'2" woman. I got it from a friend of mine a few years ago.

Any books you recommend to help me be less clueless on the subject?
