A rider that I thought would not be available, even though Valverde's addition this year to Iles is arguably a threat to his overall long-term team leadership of Iles for the TdF, is Mancebo, esp after his good performance in this year's Tour. However....

Mancebo would be a reasonably good catch for certain other teams. However, I think his ITT skills (even though much improved, including in Stage 20) are still going to be a bit of a concern for DC. I am not convinced Bruyneel believes Mancebo could win the Tour, esp over Basso and Jan.
