Heart Rate Monitors, what ya suggest to buy?

What are the best value heart rate monitors on the market these days? I haven't brought one for almost a decade, are polar still the market leader? I've just attracted by this Pro Trainer Heart Rate Monitor. Am I on the right track? Will I be disappointed? Any other good options?

Polar are hard to go past in my opinion, they've been manufacturing them for longer than almost anyone.
