HRM and Indoor Trainng

Been following the recent string on HRM's. I have been thinking about getting a HRM. With winter
coming on can a HRM be used successfully on a trainer. I have got the Lance Armstrong Program, can
this program be adapted to indoor training.

I do not want to get too bogged down with books and programs just one that works.

Whats the software like that comes with the Polar 520, does it down load onto some sort of spread
sheet easily enough. Is the cadence option worth the effort.

Hi Mike,

Are you in Australia by any chance? if so, you can upgrade from pc coach lite to the PPP 4 software at the moment for $25 from pursuit performance... i dont have this software (yet) but from what others have said it really adds benefit to a hrm.
