Jeep Bikes

Most bikes branded by auto manufacturers are actually made by bike companies, just massively marked-up.

You'll get a lot more for your money going to a bike shop to buy a bike..

If it's anything like the quality of their vehicles I wouldn't even think about getting one. :D

Actually, they're pretty cheap and decently optioned, which is probably why he (and I) are looking for information on whether or not they're of decent quality. Manufactured by Ming Cycle. http://www.cyclesourcegroup.com/noname26.html Priced $263.37 at Sam's Club... but are they any good? I'm also looking at the Marin Redwood, myself

Hi there! I'm new to the forums.

I have a Comanche Sahara I got last year and it's been great so far. It's quite a heavy MTB though, and has Shimano Altus hardware on front and back (good quality, not the greatest technology).

I would suggest going to the store and giving your bike of choice a good checkup, write down the hardware it has, and do a bit more detailed research or ask people in here.
