Part of Julich's problem is that he's a head case. Anyone sho saw his interview in the '98 tour when
he's talking about Redland's and "oh wow man" and "Oh Tyler, one of has to pull on the jersey."
indicates he never really grasped how far he came and whether he really beleonged there. For sure,
he always had the talent, but he doesn't have the Lance psyche. Champions are complex individuals
made up of many parts.

It wouldn't surprise me. It was after the mountains when the police cuffed him and took him away. By
then, all then evidence would most likely have been used.

Massi acquitted Rodolfo Massi, who was taken in for questioning during the 1998 Tour de France and
accused of drug trafficking, has now been exonerated of charges. The Cantina Tollo rider (formerly
of Casino) was taken by French police while wearing the climber's jersey during the now infamous
1998 Tour. He was detained in Chambery after anti-inflammatory medicines (corticoids) were found in
his room. After extensive questioning and a long, stop-start court case, French magistrates have
found that Massi had these items for personal use only, and that they were legal in Italy. Massi
claimed that he was only taking them with the team doctor's permission, as per UCI regulations. His
lawyer, Massimo Antonio Impellizzeri announced the dropping of all charges today.
