Oh, theres plenty more than just 2 types. That's the best thing about
"standards" - you can have several of them, one in each country.

What do you pump them up with? Aircraft often use nitrogen...

I use a ready-made mixture of about 78% nitrogen, 21% oxygen, a little argon, CO2 and other trace elements. It's generally available in most areas, though quality is sometimes a problem in big cities :)

I used to live in Footscray (Melbourne). With the air there, you could also
lubricate your bike!

The great thing with that mix is you can run it through a diffusion
membrane, use the N2 for your tyres and the O2 for your scuba nitrox mixes
and deco gas...
