So I got my new bike tonight and put it together and I absolutely love it!!!!!!!! The paint is beautiful, the welds are very smooth, the Vuelta wheels not only look awesome they also roll very smooth. I really like the Tiagra integrated brakes/shifters opposed to my old twist grip shifters, and the carbon fork looks great, the Tiagra front derailer needed minor adjustment and all I had to do to the 105 rear derailer was make a small twist on the cable adjuster and they shifted very smooth. I have never riden a bike that shifts this smooth. When I had my cheap walmart bike next to the Motobecane; the walmart bike looked like junk and I cant believe I ever rode it(hope no one saw me on it). LOL!! Also, should I lube the bike good before I go on my first ride or should it have sufficent lube now since it is new? I have never had a nice bike so I am not really sure how to care for it properly. What lube is the best? I guess I will go to my LBS tomorrow and get a few supplies. Anyway, I really haven't had a chance to ride the Motobecane hard yet because I am waiting on my new cycling shoes to get here. I can't wait! Well I don't have to work anymore this year so I will be messing around tomorrow so I will take some pictures and post them in this thread for anyone who may want to see. I really think I made a great choice and I think I really got alot of bike for the money spent.
Thanks, Brent
