Yes, there is everything wrong with it but you are obviously way too stupid

Sorni, unlike the other denizens of RBM, is not into one-liners. No, he is
into one-worders.

Anyone who takes RBM the least bit seriously has got to be an idiot! Sorni
is obviously trying to ingratiate himself with one of the few woman posters
on the group. Why? Who knows? Frankly, I find this lone woman poster who
goes by the name of Claire to be an incredibly obtuse person who has a
genius for saying only the most innocuous things.

Hells Bells, even Helen of the UK could occasionally get my goat, but not
Claire. Nope, she is nothing but 'warm regards' everywhere she goes. Of
course I give everyone my regards too, but you know I do not really mean it.
However, I think Claire means it. Is it possible that she is really a nice
person?

Another thought that occurs to me is that Sorni may actually be a wit,
which is quite rare. I cannot be a wit myself. All I am capable of is
parody. Wit requires perspective; all parody requires is that you go for the
jugular.

I only wish you were (exhaustable that is - as in breathing your cars
exhaust fumes). Do us a favour ed or whatever your name is stop x posting to
AMB. Your lame excuse for valid posting stoped some time ago, go play with
your mate MV, preferably on a busy interstate.

No doubt it was Edward the Bleat, of the Order of the Perpetually Shallow
who started the complaints of top posting. In this case, though, he was
correct.

Personally I feel that top-posting is fine, but only if you don't intend
for anyone to respond to you. If they do, they're forced to post a reply
in front of the question, making the resulting dialogue look like a
transcript from Jeopardy.

> Why do you not hassle cross posters then?
> You supposedly cannot read that is why.

Ah, the good old "you cannot read", typically used in reply to someone who
has already *read* your previous posts, and *written* to address the
person you're claiming can't read.

What is...Edward the Bleat! Trolls for 400, Alex.

Ed HAS been griped at and told (and perhaps even agrees) that it is poor
netiquette, but yet he continues...even to replies with newsgroups
appropriately trimmed. Rampant cross-posting, imflammatory statements,
gratuitous hyperbole, claims of something he can't possibly be...all the
earmarks of a troll.

What never makes any sense is a message from DsicoDuck, the absolute dumbest
Canadian ever! But I have grown to expect that from anyone stupid enough to
live in BC. He should stay on his BCC group and never leave it.

The reason DD will not go to the bottom of a very long thread is because he
is just barely literate and it hurts his very small brain to read anything,
let alone anything very long. He is nothing but an anti-helmet freak and an
all-around asshole because he advocates breaking the law. BC is full of
these types.

There should be a period at the end of your sentence. Were you born in a
barn?

Vandeman is long-suffering and I am not. I will go for the jugular right
away as I have learned from bitter experience that the sooner you put down
an idiot the better. Vandeman will string idiots along, but I do not have
the patience for that. Idiots are like vermin - they need to be killed right
away.

I cannot predict what in any message of mine is going to be picked up and
replied to. That is one of the chief fascinations for me. I know what I
would zero in on, but I cannot predict what others will zero in on.

Once a message gets posted to a newsgroup it takes on a life of its' own. It
is like all human conversation that way.

> What is...Edward the Bleat! Trolls for 400, Alex.

> Ed HAS been griped at and told (and perhaps even agrees) that it is poor

I was never sure myself what constituted a troll, until I met a real live
one on ARBR a couple of years ago. Trust me on this BB, I am not a troll. I
am merely contentious, and I like to say outrageous things in order to get
some kind of reaction. And most important of all, I will never leave a
respondent hanging. I will do a reply even if it kills me. In other words, I
stand behind everything I write. These are most definitely NOT the earmarks
of a troll.

I hope the cross-posting will only be temporary as I am trying to save ARBR
by dragging other threads to it. It seems like very many topics are of
general interest and can be on more than one newsgroup without doing any
damage to any other newsgroups.

My gratuitous hyperbole is my most endearing quality and I would be lost
without it. You would not want me to ever get sober and serious would you?

Just as I thought, you have just enough intelligence to make (un)reasonable
arguments but not enough, it seems, to think of your own topic. Shame on
you.

And I'm sure us mountain bikers think the same of you and mv. Say, could you
do us a favour and wear your name on your pack? That way we can't fail to
miss you if we ever come across you on a trail <snicker>

I am not a mountain biker so why would I think up topics for your group. I
am kept plenty busy on ARBR.
