Damn her and her coaches. How dare someone who knows so little about
riding in circles win a world title!!!!

The next thing you're gonna tell me is Leontien van Moorsel knows
advanced aerodynamic fluid dynamics formulae just because she won a gold
medal in the pursuit. In reality, she's an academic idiot, just like
Romero.

Winning an event has no bearing whatsoever on your understanding of the
physics that went into it.

If it did, Lance and other retired TT specialists would be working for
NASA or Boeing when they retire from cycling instead of getting drunk.

Thanks,

As illustrated by the fact that Romero said that you speed up in the
turns (although, from her perspective aboard the bike, it would
certainly feel that way).

Does this mean you have come over from the Dark Side?

No - but in this thread at least you seem to be having trouble
deciding for which side you're batting.

Or the geometry.

That's a shame you haven't come over to the side that Michele Ferrari
takes on velodrome turns. Although what does Ferrari know about
velodromes...he only trained Lance, Indurain, and Moser - the last two
to hour records.

Not much, apparently.

He's a colonial. We don't permit colonials to win medals on British soil.

We have a class system to preserve after all; and anyway, there aren't any
golds to spare after we've taken our share.

What? You can make blood boosting drugs out of velodrome turns? This is most
disturbing.
