And if you bust the wheels on the cobbles I do have set that looks like that hanging in my shed, but it might not be worth the postage to send them France in an emergency haha

Hehe, I thought the same. What are they, Neutrons? Might cope with the cobbles if you weigh less than 75kg?
Anyway, enjoy it Steve. New rear wheels are easily bought. A month of classics, maybe even a Giro start? Would be the trip of a lifetime for a pauper like me, but something special I'm sure for any cycling fan. Rip it up. -

We drove from Paris to Oudenaarde today. It seems like a nice little town, we're staying about a 5 minute walk from the tour of Flanders museum. If you're into bike, this place is a must visit, a week or two earlier then we are would be better.
Saw the astana team training about 3 hrs ago, they're past me so fast and were out of sight before i could get my camera out of my pocket 😠
Driving/riding on the right side of the road is a complete head f__k

Have a [censored] hot time Steve. And good luck with the driving. I spent over a week running over gutters. Motorways are fine. It's the town's and heavy traffic and remembering looking to the left then right that's the hard bit. Drivers in Europe are way better than in Australia though, which helps, but navigating medieval towns and cities sucks.
