Maybe this has been done before but let's have another go at it.
Thing you will never hear a real cyclist say. I wll start and please add your comments.

Look at my new kick-stand!

I got a new horn for my bike.

Lance who?

I can go as fast I want on my bike.

My new bars have tassels.

It's ok to get off and push up a steep hill.

I ride for the scenery.

Jean shorts are fine for long rides.

Part of me does ride for the scenery (I usually ride on nice roads through forests...and I stop and take it in). Agree with the rest...LOL.

And it's only got a 3-speed hub gear, so there are some hills I have to push it up. :( I do live in Wales though!

I'm just starting to notice the scenery for the first time whilst riding it, cause I can only get about 10mph out of it on the flat. :D

It's a Kona BikeHotRod (see avatar) - the stupidest bike I ever bought!!

Anyway, let's pretend I'm still a real cyclist. Here are some things I wouldn't ever say:

Road bikes are for softies.

I just broke my handlebar mirror.

I wear shinpads because the pedals hurt when they spin into your legs.

:D:D

Nice thread huskey!!

Another thing a real cyclist won't say:

I care about what the elitists say about what equipment I use. :)

Looks like the coolest going to the pub bike ive seen.
Why not tie a couple of them wooly backs to the front and let them drag up the hills or home from the pub :D .

I always come to a full stop at intersections.
I'm so glad I bought a trike - They're not so tippy.
Dad says I can take the training wheels off, but I think I'll leave them on. They look so cool.
My bike goes too fast for me.
I don't enjoy drafting behind trucks - it seems like cheating.
I really enjoyed that time trial I just completed.
I'd rather polish my bike than ride it.

I just love my fold-up electric-motor-powered whitewall tyred with a basket on the front commuter bicycle!!!:D

ARRRGGGHHH!! I HATE THESE PEOPLE!!!

No thankyou, those bike parts are TOO light.
Whoa, that's too much carbon fiber.
My favorite LBS is Wal-Mart.

I always get my bike serviced at Halfords.

It's a nicer ride if you let the tyres down a bit.

Personally, I prefer cantilevers.

What is that $#!+ you're riding?

It is your fault for not paying attention. (well, this one might be heard from a cyclist on occasion). :)
