i thought given his prologue performance that he was pulling himself together... but no, he still seems to be sucking aZZZ... does this in any way make more possible that he might have been utilizing the old school pot belge (hence his 3 cocaine positives) and now is too scared to, resulting in his decreased performances?

Cocaine is very easily detectable from a doping test. He definitely doesn't use it during competition.

hey, and guess what? he was never caught with it in his system during competition either.. lol... funny how that works out.

Pot Belge is old school, but has been demonstrated to be effective for training as well as racing though... the cocktail of street drugs (cocaine, heroin, amphetamines), caffeine, and other analgesics has been shown to be very effective in allow pro riders deal with the exhaustion of pro cycling allowing the to be up for workouts and feel like superman the day after doing a 280km classic race. last ring was busted in 2006 so it's not as if it's not likely still being used...
