  1. That was [censored]. The race was [censored]. The location was [censored]. The course was [censored]. What a glowing advertisement for our sport. I'm not blaming the riders. It was like racing the worlds around docklands, in the heat.

The UCI executive, who for a long time have appeared to be doing everything they can to [censored] up the sport, should be shot for holding the world's in Doha. Cookson should resign, the bunghole. He's only about 1% better than McQuaid anyway. Money grubbing, dictatorship [censored] licking [censored].

  2. Isn't that fat old [censored] Merckx in jail yet? He's in trouble for bribing a cop with a free bike or something. The yanks should also have him in Guantanamo for aiding and abetting terrorism.

  3. +1 to that Worlds rant, classo.

Nothing about that race or venue was anywhere near World Champiinships worthy.

  4. Actually nup. We's discussed it all bothways here and it's this bloke for that NewBell Prize youse keep talking about.

  5. Oh alright then. No bell?

Other than the bit where I said they should be shot. They are in the middle east. Stoning or beheading would be more appropriate.

  7. Not what I expected.

  8. Awww [censored]. Not Kate Bates again

  9. Mike Tomalaris wears a watch so he always has a conveniently handy window to lick. Stupid questions, misses what goes on. Hopeless

  10. Anna Meares announced her retirement today - coincidence?

  11. With what?

Your rant vis a vis the world's.

  13. That was as about as exciting as the brownlow medal count. Watching grass grow would be more exciting. Especially in Qatar

Bob Dylan has just won the Nobel Prize for literature.

  15. G'day cunz.
Hope you're all well. I went to a wake last night. A good old rock and roll bloke, well loved. He used run the Petersham Inn in Sydney back in the day, but strangely I only ever met him when I went to Melbourne ten or more years ago when he was running the St. Kilda bowlo. Even a couple of evenings and a visit to his house was enough for me to know he was good people. Anyway, good enough wake. A good chat with one of the Iranian bouncers after a joint, he mentioned that it was weird that everyone was happy because in his culture everyone would be crying. I got picked up by a 70yo clearly ex-rock glamour, and even got ferried around and a couple of pool games by her lovely 42yo daughter, that was interesting. I chose charming. Eventually a kebab, alone, ok a few other wakees at the kebab shop too. All good.
More importantly, I also got news that my mate Phil, theclimber, who disappeared mid last year, was found last week. Call off the search. Well his skeletal remains were found. It would seem he jumped off of Narrowneck in the Bluies about 15 months ago, which is a lovely peninsula I'd posted some nice mtb photos with him from a few years ago. Into Sydney's water catchment exclusion zone, which would help explain why he wasn't found for 15 months. Hmm. What a shame such a wonderful man so capable of compassion for his many loved ones was not capable of sharing his pain when it obviously mattered so much on a fundamental level. But I'll at least I'm likely get to drink a few of his molecules in the next few years. RIP Phil

  16. And more to the point, if any of you ever get depressed, or angry, or whatever, don't hold it in, please. Call your loved ones, or if they're part of the problem, call someone else. Or even call me. 0410342233.

  17. I know he loved this song.

  18. Good point beepers. Talk to someone you trust, or phone a help line

  19. Silence is not always golden.

  20. And for the rest of you who have chosen to stay alive...
