06 Hardrock sport disc brakes?

Just picked up a little used 06 Hardrock, how difficult is it to put on disk brakes? Will I have to get new wheels or is there a bolt on type kit. Id like to stick w/ Shimano if possible. Any help would be awsome. looking to do this as a winter project.

You will need disk tabs on the frame and fork and disk specific hubs.

A disk compatbile hub will normally have a flange with 6 holes drilled into it for the rotor to screw onto.
