Italy currently has:

1. One of the top three sprinters in the world (Petacchi)
2. The best GC prospect for the TdF (Basso)
3. A solid hope for the Giro (Savoldelli)
4. And one of the best young prospects (Cunego).

It's a good time to be an Italian cycling fan.
 
Yes, let us hope all these people are in a position to deliver in 2006.

But then again, it is always a good time to be an Italian cycling fan! ;)

I think Iraq is going to explode in 2006... they have some good sprinters well trained by cycling away as fast as possible from American soldiers..... very solid training....
