hybrid fitness bike frame question

who makes the best Hybrid carbon fiber frame for bikes? I thought it was specialized but a guy at a LBS said that Giant hand makes their own frames for their carbon fiber bikes. Is this something I should put into consideration when buying a bike? I still like specialized. Does specialized hand make there frames?
