hi everyone, i have only just registered,
i am riding a new trek 6500, which is going along nicely

a mate has got a pair of new marta sl rotor's,
i am just wondering would they fit and work with the shimano deore calipers on my trek, i am able to get them cheap, and they would be going on a spare set of rims, any help would be great

thanks

I'd say they would but keep in mind Marta SL rotors are ultra-weightweenie rotors. I'm not sure about durability but you will save a few grams. Also depends how cheap. Also keep in mind that because they are WW rotors, they are very shallow compared to the shimano standard so you will, in theory, lose a little braking power. They might grab a bit too with the wavy-thin-ness. If you can find them for the same price, Avid cleansweeps are nice rotors that work with every caliper I have put them under.

EDIT: forgot to mention. Learn how to straighten rotors. Marta SL rotors are p*** weak laterally.
