I have been hearing about how it's better for the water to be kept at body temperature for better absorption but I tend to disagree with this. I think that cold water does more help than water that's at body temperature especially in the summer. Can anyone provide an good argument for either side?

I'm sure that in that environment, hot coffee would certainly help, not to mention the caffeine would have the effect of delaying fatigue until later. So I suppose your answer is that it's best to meet the body's temperature's needs for each situation? IE, hot day, drink cold, cold day, drink hot liquid, warm, drink warm?
