22 hole rims?

I have a lovely, virtually unused campy nucleon front wheel. Problem
is, the previous owner rode it into a railroad track and cracked the
front rim. I don't believe that it can be repaired, as there is a
chunk of the rim missing.

A replacement rim is $250. The same wheel can be bought for about that
price (on closeout somewhere I saw...).

I'm wondering if anyone has a recommendation as to a 22 hole rim to use
the very nice hub with. I hate to see anything go to waste, but if it
needs to just become "bike art," then so be it.

Sun used to sell "blanks" you can drill any way you want, not sure if they
still do. http://sun-ringle.com

(This doesn't seem worth the trouble to me, just for the sake of saving
a hub. At least it's a free axle set.)

A friend of mine who worked at an LBS was told by Velocity USA pretty
recently that they would sell him blank rims. Personally, even if Sun
sells them too, I wouldn't want to bother with a Sun rim for this kind
of project.
