Phil Liggett or Anthony McCrossen?

I was wondering what people think about which of these guys are the better announcers.

I think Anthony and Brian kick Phil and Paul's collective assess. Anthony is great. Phil just gets things wrong and mispronounces names. Anthony and Brian talk as if the viewer knows whats going on. Phil dumbs everything down to the lowest common denominator. Oh yeah....Smith was a teamate of Armstrong's but doesn't mention it in every sentence like Bobke.

I've only heard Phil and Paul so I can't comment on the others but you can't beat Joe Morgan and Jon Miller as sports announcers.

David Harmon on Eurosport is top class - superb.

Agreed Lim - he's difficult to beat. But we'll see how easy he is to beat up the mountains of South Wales next month because his name is on the starting list for the Dragon Ride!
