Continuing in the spirit of attempting to discuss racing here on the forum, here we go:

France:
Sylvain Chavanel
Stephane Auge
Amael Moinard
Pierrick Fedrigo
Thomas Voeckler
Sandy Casar
Benoit Vaugrenard
Romain Feillu
Ludovic Turpin

Interesting that Moreau has not been included in the team, due to his 'lack of form'. Anyone know more about this?

Australia:
Allan Davis
Simon Gerrans
Mathew Hayman
Matt Lloyd
Trent Lowe
Michael Rogers
William Walker
Cadel Evans
Bradley McGee

McEwen is the missing one here.

P.S. This information is all from the Gazzetta dello Sport

How is Evans going to swing his leg over the top tube at the world's? He will be dead tired by the world's.

I am pulling for Voekler. Imagine how much more time the TdF cameras would spend on him if he were wearing the world champion's jersey. They might not even bother to show the rider in yellow. :D

LOL, I remember watching him in the yellow on French TV. Made Italian commentators seem tame and not jingoistic.

I think Evans gets the invite as a prestige thing, based on his performance this year. And it is a one day race, so one never knows, with good fortune and 'good day' who might win.
