Exactly. He has proved that it is possible to advocate an idea by
dumping recycled boilerplate to many different newsgroups and mailing
lists, without really putting in much effort.

If he really cared about his cause, he would work harder and in a way
that might actually convince others.

Hmm,

This looks like it's a
loooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo
ooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo
ooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooong
thread.

Anyway, in my country, one of these kind of environmentalist's shot a
politician. So in my opinion, maybe it's a good idea to wear a bullit-proof
vest i.s.o. the normal downhill body armour and helmets. This wacko is
probably stalking around some biketrail in the near future to have a shot
at a biker.

Happy trails!

Mikey has often cheered on the placement of traps to injure or kill
mountain bikers and hikers.

However, he is not the direct action type, but instead tries to trick
others into doing what he wants.

Someday he might lose it, and attack someone.

There are many other whackos out there, who also think that their
opinions are more important than laws, ethics and morals, and who will
act on that.

What other lies have you told to further your cause?

Or will you lie again, and claim that every word you utter is
incontrivertable truth?

Repeating something many times does not make it truth.

Do you suppose Mikey's parents are proud of him? Do they email links to his
web page to friends and acquaintances? Do they mention Mike's work to
"fight auto dependence" in their Christmas letters?

Or, do they worry about him wasting his life on such a trivial obsession?

My ego is clearly dwarfed by that of someone who speaks for every
reader of Usenet. With an almost 4 month history of posting to back it
up.

You would have a teensy bit more credibility if you posted the same
message to Mikie or to any of the "politics only" posters on
rec.backcountry.

I do not claim to be an expert, but do have some relevant experience
and knowledge.

In the message above, I was posting a correction to Mikie's statement
that the mountain biker who was killed deliberately chose to kill
himself. Mikie is taking advantage of a person's death, at the hands
of another person who chose to place a deadly trap, for his own
crusade where human life means nothing.

Apparently you support his crusade, by only criticizing those who
disagree with him or you.

Must be a difficult world to live in, when people have the gall to not
do things your way. You have a lot in common with Mikie.

The cause of death is not the tree, but the STOOPIDITY of the mountain biker --
a type of suicide. Darwin was right.
