Yeah... I can't get my head around that color either... (and yes..its spelled "color" because Al Gore created the Internet AND the English language.. ;) )

I dig the political quips. The color? Not so much.

Do like the placement of the rear brake.

I don't know if a comfort hybrid counts as a road bike, but here is mine. I love my Giant Cypress. I ride 9-10 miles a day, which is perfect for me.

You do know that's from a classic movie, right? You're politics are irrelevant to the thread. If you care to make political commentary, there is the "Soapbox" sub-forum.

And here's my new one! It survived 50 miles of D2R2 yesterday. Yes, yes, I know... but the 1st 'R' in D2R2 stands for Road, so...

I don't care that much but it's made in Germany, making it possibly the most affordable non-Far East bicycle brand out there.

'Google servers have been hit by an unprecedented denial-of-service attack rendering the search engine unavailable for a period of...' but enough of that:)

D2R2 = Deerfield dirt road randonnée, a very popular (with the right kind of people - very low Fred concentration) ride in Massachusetts. The official site is http://www.franklinlandtrust.org/randonnee.html, here's one ride report from last year: http://lovelybike.blogspot.com/2012/08/d2r2-green-river-tour.html

The MTB setup in the back (including the 36t cog) came in very handy on 18% gravel grades! Originally the bike had a very coy 27t (against the 36t small ring) but we've taken care of that.

My secound hand alu Claud buttler san remo 2010 ( I think) almost completely re-built Replaced steel fork with carbon 3t New genetic carbon bar and stem Chinese 60mm carbon rims Profile areo bars New profile FF Seatpost Just need to save up for a nice groupeset and I'm done

This my latest creation a Dahon Allegro (cheaper version of the Ritchey Breakaway, same manufacturer). Lovely to ride and surprisingly stiff.
