Bought a new bike for my three year old daughter today

I just picked up a new bike for my 3 yr old daughter today and we live on a dirt road and dirt and rocky driveway. she keeps getting stuck on the rocks. I want to take off the coaster brake and allow her to pedal backward to go backward. Is this possible?

You can take the arm off, but is this a two wheeler? If you have a three year old that can pedal a two wheeler backwards without falling, You need to get her to the nearest circus immediately
