I am pretty new to cycling (road), and I'm just starting to train for my first big event - the BP MS 150 (charity ride from Houston to Austin) in April. Can anyone out there reccommend any websites/books that would have a good training/nutrition program laid out? I'm already fit - have been a regular exerciser for over a year now - but I'm a little clueless on what my regimen should be for the bike specifically.... And when you guys are training for an event, about how many calories a day do you eat? I know it must be more than normal - just curious.... Thanks!
